Betta Fire Protection is a Sydney-based fire protection company with a 40-year history. Despite its outstanding reputation for top class service and its values-based approach, Betta Fire Protection’s digital marketing had fallen behind. When 80/20 Digital got the call from MD, Rob Newcombe, to revitalise the marketing strategy and drive revenue through lead generation, we were only too happy to help. As always with great marketing, we started with the brand.
Strategy
Following a series of in-depth consultations, we devised a revised brand strategy and logo to appeal to the key target audience of Business Owners, Landlords and Strata Managers in the metro Sydney area and surrounding regions. We leveraged Betta Fire Protections immense credibility with trust signals throughout the revised website UX and highlighted Betta Fire Protection’s customer-centric approach with in-situ photos of staff in the field. The revised brand positioning included the tagline ‘Compliance You Can Trust’ and the web content reiterated the ethical approach of Betta Fire Protection.
Our Approach
Furter to creating the new branding and website, our next step was to introduce a lead generation program to drive website traffic, revenue and profits. Focussing on the 80/20 rule, we researched and targeted the most profitable keyphrase that would drive sales through Google Ads Pay Per Click Advertising and SEO. A content marketing strategy was adopted to target long tail keyphrases through SEO; a authoritative blog to establish Rob as a leader in the industry; email marketing to reach existing customers and and organic social media build community around the brand.
Results
The new branding, website and marketing strategy yielded immediate results. SEO and Google Ads have been extremely effective for lead generation. Following several successive years of increased revenue, Betta Fire Protection achieved its best ever year in fyr 2023 with an increase of 33% in YOY revenue. 80/20 Digital was also delighted to win three international Gold awards at the AVA Digital Marketing Awards for this campaign.
