Despite its excellent reputation and 30 years of expertise, Ascoat’s brand and website had become somewhat outdated and in need of a revamp. Technical Manager, Arthur Karayannis, engaged 80/20 Digital to rejuvenate the brand and embark on a lead generation campaign that would reestablish Ascoat as the industry leader and take the business’ to the next level.  


Our strategy was to play to Ascoat’s strengths as a specialist provider of industrial flooring with technical expertise that competitors could not match. We redesigned a logo, style guide and website with a top class UX, underpinned by keyphrase research that would drive the Google Ads and SEO strategy. We emphasised photos and videos within the website to demonstrate Ascoat’s value and highlighted testimonials and unique selling points throughout. 

Our Approach

As always, our approach was to begin with a Marketing & Brand Audit that would help us to understand the competitive environment, Ascoat’s brand values, and key points of difference. We consulted closely with our client to ensure messaging was on point and introduced new headlines and taglines that would encapsulate the brand and resonate with customers. Finally, we built tailored landing pages and optimised the website content for lead generation with a best-in-class UX to ensure website visitors would enquire straight off the page. 


Ascoat covered the entire costs of their rebranding investment and paid for their entire marketing strategy for the year within a matter of months! Over the course of the financial year, Ascoat had achieved a 525% return on investment with 43 keyphrases in the top 3 on Google and 82 in the top 10. The combination of SEO and Google Ads PPC ensured that the brand was visible and competing well in a highly competitive landscape. Feedback from the website has also been excellent, as it continues to resonate extremely well with new and existing clients alike.
